Seamus/Lavender : The Breakup

Add to Memories Tell a Friend
The night of the full moon was the hardest for Lavender, she hated that she'd had to spend them alone - but Seamus ... he wouldn't understand, she knew that, no one would. She'd been up the whole night, her door warded, and her windows closed and the curtains drawn tight. She'd paced back and forth the entire night, one day she would wear a hole through the floor with her pacing - she was sure the landlord would love that.

Sometime around dawn the pull of the moon eased and Lavender was able to lay down, she curled up in her bed and pulled her blanket up tight around her shoulders and drawing in a long slow breath. Finally she could breathe easily, and think about something other than the moon, though it would start up again in a few hours, best to get some sleep while she could.

She slept through the morning and was starting in on the afternoon, Lavender didn't hear the knock on the door before Seamus came in looking for her, and it wasn't until she felt her bed dip that she even realized there was someone else in her flat.

Sitting up too quickly than she should have, Lavender groaned laying down again. "Scared me." She said shaking her head and pressing a hand to her forehead.

Seamus/Lavender : Seamus' birthday

Add to Memories Tell a Friend
It was Saturday, a week before Christmas. Lavender still had some Christmas shopping to take care of - she only had a few people to shop for and yet she was a terrible procrastinator, and she still had a whole week to take care of things, so she wasn't feeling too worried about it just yet.

Today though, she was spending with Seamus. She'd asked him to meet her later that morning so they could go out. Lavender stretched rubbing her eyes as she threw her legs over the side of the bed, already getting off on to a slow start. Lavender was definitely not a morning person, especially not after nights following the full moon.

But she managed to get herself up and into the shower. She was still getting dressed when Seamus knocked at the door, and she called out to have him let himself in.

"I'm in here." She called, pulling on a pair of jeans and buttoning them hastily and finding a shirt for the afternoon.

Seamus/Lavender : Day 1

Add to Memories Tell a Friend
It was a strange sort of freedom, living on her own, Lavender had only been living in her flat for about a month and she was still getting used to the idea of living on her own away from the watchful eyes of her parents - which had grown all the more watchful after Hogwarts. When she got the position at the Muggle Relations office she'd jumped at the opportunity, it not only meant she could keep herself busy during the day, but she could also afford to move out without her parent's help.

And so now here she was, living in Diagon Alley in her own little one bedroom flat. It was just the right size for her and being on the second floor provided a bit of extra safety on certain nights.

And then there was Seamus, it was strange running into him again recently. And now he was living in the same building as well, and they'd started spending time together. It was just sort of strange how quickly it had all happened. But she liked spending time with Seamus, he wasn't as wild as she remembered him from school, he was easy to spend time with, and he seemed to like spending time with her.

More often than not evenings were spent together either in her flat or his, just spending time together, talking, having dinner, being friends. It was a very easy sort of companionship and it was something Lavender had been looking for so desperately when she moved out of her parent's home. And she found that in Seamus.

Lavender was just getting started on dinner for that evening, they'd planned to spend the evening together as usual and she sort of liked having someone to cook for other than herself - it was much easier cooking for two than for one, when a knock rang out from the living room. "Come on in, Seamus." She called out from the kitchen, having grown comfortable enough with Seamus that he could just let himself into her flat.
